Founder of Jetwave Enterprises, Michael always wanted to incorporate his company with his true ocean passion. His love for surfing and the WA waters was the driving force behind teaming up with Kieran and forming Jetwave Boat Charters. If he’s not catching a quick wave on his lunch break, you will more than likely see him running around one of his 2 bottleshops, or sailing the seven seas as skipper of the Eendracht.

Kieran Wardle

Kieran Wardle, grandson of ex Perth Lord Mayor Sir Thomas Wardle has lived on Dirk Hartog Island with wife Tory for the past 15 years where they have over the years, developed a unique and exclusive holiday destination. After more than a decade of hard work establishing the Homestead which today sees guests coming back year after year from all over the globe, Kieran decided it was time to learn the ins and outs of the marine industry which would in turn increase the number of people traveling to this isolated retreat. These days you will see Kieran behind the wheel of the Eendracht, whether it be in Perth or in and around the waters of Shark Bay.

Travis Fransic

West Australian Travis Francis is a man with a love for the ocean and you will find him skippering our vessels on most weekends. Travis has a true passion which lies in the waters of Shark Bay and whether it be fishing, diving or bay hopping at Rottnest, he will never be far from the water.

Stacey moved to Western Australia from Brisbane in 2005 after completing a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Queensland. When Stacey’s not organising charter vessels, you will find her on the Eendracht or guiding our Island Interlude 4wd tours on Dirk Hartog Island. She is the heart and soul of Jetwave Boat Charters and makes every charter a one of a kind. It is the dedication to customer satisfaction that has seen Jetwave Boat Charter’s continual growth and prosper since 2005.

Candis Fraser

After spending years traveling the world, Candis has arrived home and has rejoined the Jetwave Team. With a contagious smile and a love for the outdoors, Candis offers all of our guests the utmost in hospitality care. She is an amazing host and a crucial member of our steward team.

Amanda Carmichael

Amanda has been part of the Jetwave Team for more than 5 years now and continues to provide our guests with service excellence. With her infectious smile and laugh, Amanda makes all guests feel like part of the family and will ensure all events are made a special one.

Indianna Vidler

Indi is a new member to the Jetwave Team and has become a guest favourite steward already. An out-going ocean girl, Indi’s bright and bubbly personality creates a friendly feel to every charter.

Pat “Piccalo� McMahon

Pat has been with Jetwave since 2005 and continues to work the vessels with amazingly high standards. Pat is a Perth local who is passionate about surfing, diving and anything boats, and it’s this pride in his work which makes him a perfect guide on our surf, dive and fish safaris around the Dirk Islands.

Ben “Proudy� Proudfoot

A lad from the East Coast with a love for all things water, Ben joined the team in 2006. He is a well known and respected longboarder who has travelled the world competing on tour which makes his ocean knowledge ideal for our liveaboard island stays.

Ash Hicks

Ash is the new school of fishing guide at Dirk Hartog Island. His passion to accommodate any angler is second to none and with an amazing 2008 season under his belt he has set the bar high for 2009. He is currently completing his final year of a Bachelor of Fisheries Management degree at Curtin University and whether it be catching Yellowfin off the rocks or landing a 65 kg Sailfish from the Eendracht, it’s Ash’s patience and commitment that rewards his guests.

Stephen “China� Davies

China represented Australia in the Olympics on 3 separate occasions and has captained the Kookaburra’s throughout his career and it is these leadership skills which show true when taking our guests fishing around Dirk Hartog Island. No matter what fishing level you require whether it be chasing Marlin or catching Snapper, China is there to accommodate with a story and a smile.
